What this covers
This policy explains what information Racqu collects when you use our mobile app, why we collect it, and the choices you have. By using Racqu, you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
We collect only what's needed to run a group scheduling app:
- Account information — your name and email address, entered directly when you create an account.
- Group and session activity — the groups you belong to, sessions you propose or RSVP to, your RSVP status and timestamps, and any session details you enter (like a proposed time or a cancellation reason).
- Group administration data — if you're a group admin, the invites you send and the venues you configure for your group.
- Basic technical data — standard information generated by using a mobile app, such as crash logs and a device identifier used to deliver push notifications, needed to keep Racqu working reliably.
We do not currently collect location data, payment information, or any health or fitness data.
How we use this information
- To run the core features of the app — creating groups, scheduling sessions, sending invites, and tracking RSVPs.
- To let group admins manage their own group (invites, venues, cancellations).
- To keep the service secure and diagnose problems.
- To respond when you contact us at support@racqu.com.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
Racqu is built on a small set of third-party services that process data on our behalf:
- Supabase, our backend provider, stores account data, group data, and session data in a managed database.
Other members of a group you belong to can see information relevant to that group — your name, your RSVP status, and session details — since that's the point of a shared scheduling tool. Racqu groups are private and invite-only; your information is not visible outside groups you've joined.
Data retention
We keep your account and group data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or ask us to, we'll remove your personal information within a reasonable time, except where we need to retain limited records for legal or security reasons.
Your choices
- You can review and update your account information within the app.
- You can leave a group at any time.
- You can request a copy of your data, or request that we delete your account and associated data, by emailing support@racqu.com.
Children's privacy
Racqu is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we'll remove it.
Security
We use industry-standard safeguards — including database-level access controls — to protect your information. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data appropriately for what it is.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
