Terms & Conditions

Agreement to terms
These terms govern your use of Racqu, a mobile app for scheduling and coordinating racquet-sport sessions — including tennis, pickleball, badminton, table tennis, and squash — within private groups. By creating an account or using Racqu, you agree to these terms.
What Racqu is
Racqu lets you create or join private groups for racquet sports like tennis, pickleball, badminton, table tennis, and squash, propose sessions, RSVP, and manage group logistics like invites and venues. Racqu is a coordination tool — it does not book courts, provide instruction, or guarantee that any scheduled session actually takes place.
Accounts
- You need an account to use Racqu, created with an email address.
- You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your account credentials secure.
- You must be able to form a binding agreement to use Racqu — if you're a minor, use Racqu only with the involvement of a parent or guardian as required by your local law.
Groups and invites
Racqu groups are private and admin-controlled. Group admins are responsible for who they invite and for the venues, defaults, and cancellation decisions they configure for their group. Racqu is not a party to any agreement or understanding between group members.
Sessions, RSVPs, and cancellations
- Any group member can propose a session; other members RSVP to indicate whether they plan to attend.
- Group admins can cancel a session and must provide a reason, which is visible to the group.
- Racqu shows session status based on RSVPs and admin actions — it is not a guarantee that a court, venue, or the players involved will actually be available.
Weather information
Racqu may display weather forecast information from third-party sources as a convenience to help you plan sessions. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of this weather information, and forecasts can change or be wrong. You should not rely solely on weather information shown in Racqu when deciding whether to hold, attend, or cancel a session. Racqu and its developer are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from reliance on weather information displayed in the app.
Physical activity and assumption of risk
By using Racqu to arrange or participate in a session, you acknowledge and accept the risks inherent to physical activity and play, and you agree that you are responsible for your own health, fitness, and safety, and for any equipment, court, or venue involved. Racqu is not liable for injuries, accidents, property damage, or disputes arising from sessions arranged through the app.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Racqu for anything unlawful, harassing, or abusive toward other users.
- Attempt to access another user's account or a group you haven't been invited to.
- Interfere with or disrupt the app's operation or security.
We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms.
Ownership
Racqu and its underlying software, design, and branding belong to us. You retain ownership of the content you add — like session details or messages within your group — but you grant us the right to store and display it as needed to operate the app.
Disclaimer of warranties
Racqu is provided "as is." We do our best to keep the app reliable, but we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Racqu and its developer are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including — without limitation — injuries or losses related to sessions arranged through it, or reliance on weather information displayed in the app.
Changes to the app or these terms
We may update Racqu's features or these terms over time. If we make material changes to these terms, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
Termination
You can stop using Racqu and request account deletion at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
